Amber is about to get off. Judge allows jury to consider the Castle Doctrine even though the bytch wasnt in her castle. Its heartbreaking. I wish her nothing but bad luck for the rest of her life.
That bytch of a judge need to be removed from the bench

I’ve heard cops in town are preparing for riots to ensue as a result of this case. Does it look that bleak?

Yes, she'll get off. "Castle doctrines lessen the duty to retreat when an individual is assaulted within one's own home. Deadly force may either be justified, the burdens of production and proof for charges impeded, or an affirmative defense against criminal homicide applicable, in cases "when the actor reasonably fears imminent peril of death or serious bodily harm to him or herself or another".[1] The castle doctrine is not a defined law that can be invoked, but a set of principles which may be incorporated in some form in many jurisdictions."

If the jury truly believes she thought she was in her own home and the judge says they may consider "stand your ground". I dont see why they would convict her.

So let me get this straight- They are trying to throw in the Castle doctrine even though it wasn't her home and she was unlawfully in his. However, we are to deny or ignore his rights to his own apartment to b*stardize a doctrine of law to excuse her negligent if not criminal behavior.... Sounds like some very 3/5ths of a man type 'ish here. This is an abortion of justice and a clear disregard for this man's life if she gets off even remotely lightly. She needs to be appropriately held accountable by the judicial system in the same way any other non-white defendant would. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be applicable due to the lack of melanin that she has....

She wasn't tested for a blood alcohol level on the scene? Did she sober up before authorities arrive, or not exhibit signs of drunkenness? Was there any testimony about her sobriety?

The whole thing is bizarre. I don't see an entirely racially motivated crime though. The testimony about her texts and relationships, if this was a different case, we would call that out.

Did they ever establish if there was a pre-existing relationship there? That's what I remember thinking at the time. Really heartbreaking
