I get it, but nearly every single president has said they're going to try and tackle inflation.

None of these guys are living up to their promises. Not a single one and I like Joe Biden.

80 years, 20 presidential terms. 20 different elections. 20 sets of promises to tackle inflation, among other things.

America ain't a country of "culture" like how you'd think of Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, China, etc. are.

America is basically a tax zone with borders.

They don't want you to leave and really make it out the rat race because they need to stay and tax 40% of your salary every single year and tax every single transaction.

Think of how much people paid in taxes for 20+ years year after year of sacrifice and hard-earned dollars. Now when everything shut down and their lives were in shambles, after all that tax money they put into the system, the governments spots them with 2 checks for $1k?!



Like a reply in that thread: you know how much money a single $1 generates after a decade of taxing it?

Why you think they want a bunch of immigrants to come over? Give them opportunities, so they can start taxing them.

Why you think things like capital gains taxes exist?

Oh, you think they want you to "make it" so you can go to another country and retire and they can't tax you anymore?

Even if you take the ex-pat route, you still get taxed

You still can't see it huh? They've been raising the cost of living for decades and not having pay keep up with inflation. A lot of people are working with no hope of having a retirement. You've been indoctrinated. The financial sector is literally changing the financial system in front of you and people still ignore it. I don't want to hear the complaining when it collapses on people's dreams. Sitting out here thinking you're going to retire is going to get you caught up in the okey doke.
