American IT Workers Increasingly Alleging Discrimination

Anyone who has actually worked at a company with outsourced overseas IT knows how awful it is. Every company tries it, everyone hates it, jobs come back and the company has egg on its face. My company did that for a while and IT became a pariah in the company. Now they have IT folks on site to handle business.

Separately, there are ongoing court cases alleging discrimination against two of the largest India-based IT services firms, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services. There may also be federal interest in examining the issue.

My company is in the process of offshoring to both of these companies.
