any way you cut it. Like, some people believe that passing down assets and businesses is a bad thing for your kids.
Your legacy doesn't stop when you die if you have kids. Your name and genetics will live on long after your pass. By not doing extra measures that your grandkids will have a better life, is like you don't give a fukk about your existence or the well being of your loved ones.
Goal was to put back 10K by June of this year. Sitting at 5 right now.

It's always some shyt. I definitely regret being too generous with family. I had paid all my debt off. Student loans and car was paid off. Then "loaned" about 4K to family. Then had to get ankle surgery plus all the work that went into after, even with insurance that shyt cost a lot out of pocket. Finally passed my car down to my daughter and got me a new one. All that shyt hit in like 6 months that drained my savings and now put me back playing catch up. Bright side for the future is I am sitting at over 200K in my 401K.
Part of it was my own doing as I took a lot of vacations over the last year and a half which I had accounted for and would've been good with if the other shyt didn't hit.

The same principle applies whether you are a Walton or regular dude. The Walton family did not start off rich. Sam Walton started with one store and built it over a lifetime, then passed it on to his kids.
