Little nikka. :snoop:

Assets are assets. Whether you got $1000 or $1,000,000 you pass that shyt on to your children. I mean fukk, the least you can do is pass on your home.

The same principle applies whether you are a Walton or regular dude. The Walton family did not start off rich. Sam Walton started with one store and built it over a lifetime, then passed it on to his kids.

Bruh, stop...Sam Walton started buying stores with money from his father and brother -
who were rich during the gottdamn GREAT DEPRESSION.

By age 35: Have twice your annual salary saved.

By age 40: Have three times your annual salary saved.

By age 45: Have four times your annual salary saved.

By age 50: Have five times your annual salary saved.

By age 55: Have six times your annual salary saved.

By age 60: Have seven times your annual salary saved.

By age 65: Have eight times your annual salary saved.
to do this....while having a mortgage and already relinquishingg a lot of your savings for a down payment... dont know if thats realistic

I might be making like 250K by age 35...minimum 125K. To have 250K saved...and be paying off a mortgage? Man....they buggin. And I say this with 33 racks saved already

And? My point still stands.

...And so he did start out with a rich family when he got his "one store"; so your point doesn't stand.

His father passed his money to him to start his business.

No - his father loaned him money, and he had a substantial amount of money from the Army.
That's not normal.

Savings can only get you so far if wages remain stagnant. Honestly I'm getting tired of these financial advisors saying that shyt like it's the be all end all because you can only save what you can reasonably spare.

Eventually, your rent will go up or the cost of repairs on your home will rise, property taxes double, tuition increases. ..yet you're still making the same damn thing. And good god don't live in a city like NY or LA. The cost of living is spiraling out of control unchecked. How you save what you don't have?

It's to the point where even if they CAN save, many will wind up using much of that money for emergency expenses. Car repairs, medical bills, etc. My mom ended up getting hit with a surprise $800+ electric bill for three months of service (she's billed every 3 months). Apparently turning on the heat some winter mornings is a luxury now.

He chooses not to own a car..Age 16 bought a car for $1700, still have it 3 years later

OR, he chooses not to take such a big risk with what little extra money he may have.

I mean, I'm glad it worked out for you but you understand that's far from the usual case, right? Plenty of people have bought cheap cars that turned out to be lemons that required thousands of dollars in repairs.

Yall spend a bunch bullshyt though...DONT FRONT.

Smartphones,

Netflix

Uber

Fast Casual food

Amazon

etc

I'm so goddamn sick of this argument idk wtf to do.

According to some of you nikkas, everybody should live like paupers straight out of a dikkens novel, right? Just come home from work, eat a can of beans and stare at the walls until it's time for bed or some shyt.

Anyway, lot of Americans really are curtailing their spending (cause they don't fukkin HAVE IT). There's conflicting reports, but looking at the raw financials and public statements from a lot of companies, sales are down. Last year Uber was practically hemorrhaging money. People cancelled Netflix when they announced the latest price increase, taking their streaming service to a whopping $12. Just as many stopped using the service when it rose to $11.

Every other week there's an article out about how "Millennials are killing ___ " by NOT spending on it. Many folks aren't even doing that poor people 'splurge' shyt of taking the family to Olive Garden or McDonalds on the weekends like they used to.

The fast food wars are back on because everybody's trying to compete for a dwindling market . McD ONLY brought back the dollar menu because every quarter sales were down. They've been pretty much losing money since 2013...when they first took away the $1 menu. People have literally deemed fukking McDonald's "too expensive".

Also, the majority of people "finance" their smartphones which means they pay additional, COLOSSAL sum of $10-$25 more per month. But sure, that's what's REALLY holding folks back. :dahell:

Home owners are about to start getting fukked more too. It ain't the 1960s anymore.

Info :lupe:

shyt prices for electric, gas, water, internet etc all keep going up. Inflation’s a motherfukker. How the hell you expect people to save up when salaries stay stagnant. :gucci:

Business wanna keep automating too. Getting folks out the paint and out of a good salary.

Watching Americans (the richest people in the world, living in the richest country in the entire world) complain about not having enough is just :wow:

Even American poverty means we live better than most people around the world because you still have access to resources and systems that most of the worlds population does not

Y’all don’t want to admit that y’all are addicted materialism and hypnotized by American consumerism :wow:

All these brands, smartphones, TVs, we don’t need and y’all complaining about not having enough :whew:
