Stop with the first half of your statement, which ultimately controls society's outlook on things....black women/white men is more preferable, because white men, who power the norms and culture, are in direct benefit and control of such a union. I believe the idea is that black women tend to have control over their respective demographics in terms of economic spending power, voting power (which ultimately has a greater means of influence in politics and how public policy is administered), academic/social mobility within middle and upper class blacks and they are somewhat viewed as the "model minority" within a minority itself in contrast to their black male counterparts. It's a position that I think many of them relish in and to some extent believe that they are collectively more valuable than their male counterparts where it's pretty much the other way around in any other community.

Not to say black woman are really super free but in comparison to white woman/black males historically, those 2 have been. Black woman were allowed to go to work and could do things white woman could not historically. Today black woman do not have a systematic oppression over them, but white woman do. This is why white feminism makes sense and directly challenges white male patriarchy (ie: challenging the fact men get paid more than woman).
