He worded it wrong. Black woman and White men have historically been the 2 free-ist groups in America. Not to say black woman are really super free but in comparison to white woman/black males historically, those 2 have been. Black woman were allowed to go to work and could do things white woman could not historically. Today black woman do not have a systematic oppression over them, but white woman do. This is why white feminism makes sense and directly challenges white male patriarchy (ie: challenging the fact men get paid more than woman). While black woman try to emulate this charging black men of frivolous non-sense like saying they have the privaledge of not taking care of their kids because they have no systematic oppressive system to directly challenge.

Nope not saying that at all, but when it comes to woman's issues specifically, black woman in history have had more physical freedoms than white woman (ie being able to work). White men did systematically oppress them hence why white feminism rose, black feminism rose when they thought these white woman feminist were their friends and really had their own agenda on the back burner.

I think black women face more racism than sexism so that's why i don't co-sign black feminism. The reason they were able to work was because people didn't really see them as women, so of course they weren't treated like one for the most part. to most white men they were just servants/workers along with objects to use and throw away, them dudes didn't really care about them so that ain't no type of privilege

I agree... you're thinking by me saying "freedom" I mean "privilege" which I don't. 2 different words. Racism/white supremacy is black folks main issue... there is no system of black male corporation bosses underpaying black woman or telling them they cannot work or shutting them out of certain things, but their is for white woman for them being woman.
