She made some great comments about wanting to attract more Black people and families to those parts of Sag Harbor.
Earl Graves (and John H. Johnson) played key roles in helping to expand the middle and upper middle class segments of the Black community. The very ones who would visit, Summer, or own there.
Media is POWERFUL. Promoting, informing people about opportunities and possibilities.
Her family did a good job of telling her the history and value of those SH communities.
Difficult task because there's always a segment of kids who take things for granted, feel entitled, and dont carry the torch.
