I am not against dude's new found philosophy on dating, but I see no issue with a man taking the initiative to reach out to a woman first.

Either a woman is interested or not. I will say that for me, I don't mind calling first or asking a woman out first, but I will not do ALL of the calling or texting. A woman has to be an active and willing participant in order for things to work.

If all parties involved was genuine & sincere with their intentions to boot, then it would not matter who calls who first or who asks who out first.
