I don't see them beating the Warriors this year but I know they are another small guard away from another dynasty.


As much as I dislike SA, can't help but admire their coaching, front office, and scouting staffs

If Jonathan Simmons keeps coming along and starts getting say a consistent 15 - 18 minutes at the 2 and 3 spot it is a wrap for the league...

This dude right now is like Kawhi was 2 years ago...all he needs is some PT to get used to playing with everybody...

It's mind boggling the spurs are off to this start with Danny Green being probably the worst offensive 2 guard in the league...I mean a poor man's tony allen on offense...

Kawhi still isn't that dude on the offensive side, and I don't think he ever will be. They've got good scoring depth, but not enough in the starting lineup to carry them for an entire postseason run. Even though barring injury, Draymond will probably deserve to win it (considering his technicality snub last season), nobody should be mad if they gave it to Duncan on some lifetime achievement award shyt.

Or should I say even if it is on some charity shyt.

this is the best we've looked defensively in a long time. tony parker is healthy again, aldridge is getting more comfortable in the system, kawhi is playing at a superstar level. all we need is for danny green to find his shot.

I'd expect LMA to become more of a focal point on offense around March/April in preparation for the playoffs, he and Kawhi with scoring coming from the random hot night from Tony, Manu or Duncan should be enough.
