Kawhi still isn't that dude on the offensive side, and I don't think he ever will be. They've got good scoring depth, but not enough in the starting lineup to carry them for an entire postseason run. Even though barring injury, Draymond will probably deserve to win it (considering his technicality snub last season), nobody should be mad if they gave it to Duncan on some lifetime achievement award shyt.

Or should I say even if it is on some charity shyt. :mjpls:
He could be, his 3pt shooting boosted and this is his fourth year right?

bout to get smoked by the mulattoes when they unleash that small ball lineup though:umad:

Nah.

Parker/Patty, Green/Ginobili, Kawhi, Aldridge/Duncan/West, Diaw can line up with the Warriors' small ball lineup like no one else in the league. Curry, Klay, Green, Harrison, Andre would get beasted on between Diaw and West/Aldridge in the post/midrange and I think Pop would be cool with Kawhi and Green on Curry and Klay on the defensive side. Harrison, Green, and Andre ain't as much of an offensive threat without Steph drawing doubles.

This is all coming from a W's fan too and that's without the caveat that Pop would outcoach the fukk out of Luke Walton. He's already grinding the team into the ground for the sake of that streak.

The Spurs are a historically great team. They may low-key be better than the Warriors. They just lost a couple of those close games where GS got the bounces to go their way.
And they've especially been on a role not that LMA is more settled within the scheme. I saw several times through the year where he will miss a cut or get to his spot a bit late or sometimes even get to the hoop and be surprised when They pass him the ball. He isn't used to the system yet but he is getting there. I don't expect Portland numbers but one thing that's been underrated about LMA throughout his career is his ability to finish around the hoop so he will get more easy looks. And of course his midrange game was always nice but he hasn't hit all those shots thst well for now. I expect his percentages to rise as the season continues. At the same time Kawhi shooting will probably plateaus a bit.
They actually have the 3rd best offense in the league so far. I think Cavs, Thunder, Warriors and Clippers are all better offensively but the Spurs are right there in the next tier.

As far as Simmons goes, another great find by their scouts. He was my fav player in summer league but he is the same age as Kawhi. I think it'd be foolish to expect him to exhibit the type of growth Kawhi did
