Electoral votes are granted based on who wins the popular vote in each state. The number of electoral votes each state is granted is designated proportional to the population of each state. But whoever wins the popular vote in that state gets all the electoral votes for that state...except for Maine and Nebraska which each have 3 electoral votes and 2 of each are granted by popular vote statewide...the other 1 for each are granted by popular vote per district.
Except for those minor deviations in Maine and Nebraska, this is shyt you're supposed to learn in grade school.
Anyway, the point is you have people believing conspiracy bullshyt from Umar Johnson videos instead of learning facts. Dude said the people don't choose the President, the electoral college does...like the electoral college is some kind of board or body that appoints people that has nothing to do with voting results.
And you have people saying a man who speaks complete and utter baseless, fact-devoid bullshyt routinely and rapidly should be teaching kids just because he wears and a dashiki and a kufi and says he's pro black.
