They didn't charge him 1300 for 3 bottles of Goose, they charged him nothing. The bill was comp'd.
On the one hand, whenever I've been comp'd a meal or drink, I always tip well, seems like the right thing to do.
But on the other hand, they comp'd Floyd for a reason, likely cuz his presence helped increase their profits (meaning they comp'd the guy who could afford pay everyone's tab while taxing the regular folk who can barely afford their own tabs s
). Seeing as I've never been comp'd because of my status like that, I don't know what standard procedure is for that situation, so I'll just sit this one out.
