this is why i dont really fukk with white people anymore in real life either. they live in a world of dishonesty where the lie to our faces and celebrate how great the product of our oppression is for their lives. Even when they arent impressive personally.

What is interesting to me is ATL hasn't seen a Black Indy Film Start Up wave the way there is a tech start up wave. There are a good amount of Films being made in ATL that go straight to netflix, but with the ATL having the AUC, in particular Clark which has a well known Mass Comm program I'm surprised there isn't a push for people pitching stuff to venture capitalist. I also feel it would be dope if Tyler Perry did some type of AUC to Tyler Perry studios pipeline where he allocated certain # of funds and annually pics Seniors to make an indy film, this can introduced new talent, get kids experience,and Tyler has a good tax write that makes him look like a hero.

The film scene my scene though so idk what is going on on that tip, but I do know there is a black indy film scene in ATL.

I don't know if my own pops is or not, but he currently lives in Atlanta and he trying to produce a low budget action film and he claims to have met someone who has worked with Tyler Perry. Again don't know if this is or not, but one of my brothers did confirm that he has the equipment and has met with people. For right now I'm just going to see...

But anyways if Atlanta (black) film industry continues to grow it only spells good things for blacks who are trying to get into this industry. Atlanta I hear is already easy to network with other blacks. We would have our own film industry independent of Hollywood. We would only rely on whites for distribution and thats it.

As for NY, I only mentioned it because its personally good for me(live in a county right outside NYC)as someone trying to break into that industry and because its taking BIG bites from Hollywood and bringing good competition. Which is a MUST.

Had a cac on fb today try to tell me that slavery and the murder of natives in 1776 is not a crime because it wasn't yet written into law. I don't need any legal paper to tell me what a crime against humanity is.
