And this is why I am still baffled as of why the black film production in Atlanta has not become bigger than it already is...
Why do some segments of white people want to be "the oppressed, the underdogs, the victims, the discriminated" so badly? If I can offer a bit of a spoiler for em' the shyts really not that cool.
If Jesse was up there telling lies or speaking on shyt that's come and gone so we should move forward it'd be one thing but I guess the raw truth does tend to sting if it strikes a nerve.

White folk enjoy all of the things our oppression got them but love to play dead and dumb to what the reality of it is and the oppressed finally having somewhat of a voice.
They want to be victim and oppressor at the same time, crazy. It's only oppression when their people went through it, holocaust, 9/11, and all that other mambo jumbo they try to compare centuries of systemic racism to.
We speak out about how WE deal with the cops on a daily basis, they tell us that we're speaking hate on law enforcement. We tell them that 400 years of slavery plus another century of "free" oppression has held us back significantly...they tell us it wasn't them personally and they shouldn't have to pay for what their ancestors did.
Like dude, we just got most of our basic rights within the last 80 or so years...like there are people alive today who can recall from PERSONAL experience, a time when you could lose your life at any time for just being the wrong color, sitting at the wrong counter, drinking out of the wrong fountain, going to the wrong side of town, etc...
They want to us to forget what this country has done and continues to do, all so they can look at themselves in the mirror and not feel any guilt.
