I'd do sum type of weird ass zone defense vs steph. And I wouldn't keep chasing that nikka off screens all game.

I would have some shyt like Jordan rules but call it steph rules:

1) no open 3s no matter what
2) no chasing off screens (just let sumbody else pick em up if he start running)
3) when he beats his man off dribble from 3pt line, dont chase em.. Stay behind 3point line n roam n just roate other players on defense. If this result in anybody else taking a wide open 3 besides klay, so be it

I'll live n die by some weird shyt like this. But I ain't chasing that nikka all over the court. When u chase him he gon hit an open 3 eventually.

I'd do everything in my power to just defend him different n just let em shoot open 2's if anything.

When that dude start hitting 3s at home its a wrap. The crowds energy makes the other players 50% better, n they'll run up 20 points in 4 minutes.

I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough to create a succesful defense that would stop the Warriors but i do know your idea would not work. Even if you do concentrate on stopping Curry and succeed, he and his teammates are way too unselfish and good at passing. Putting all attention on not leaving curry, would force way too many missed rotations and lead to shots with a much higher percent, than just an average Curry 3.

History shows that very young teams rarely win the matchup win faced against a more experienced team or a star player that is more experienced.

I say Cavs win and the Warriors go down like the 1995 magic, 2011 Thunder and 1986 rockets.
The problem with that is - the Warriors not only boast more experience, but they've also been together a lot longer than this Cleveland team has. Not to mention the Cavs have gone through different lineups all throughout these playoffs, the Cavs starting 5 has been constant.

One of the reasons curry is so tough to stop is he hits shots with a hand in his face at almost the same clip that he does open shots. It's similar as JR Smith, except he's even better at it (as well as several other things on the bball court)
I agree that I'd wanna try to get the ball out of Currys hands, especially in the Half court but your playing with fire if you double and trap too much because of how well they pass the ball + Kerrs Xs and Os. Hes gonna draw up some misdirection that will leave your backline 2 on 1

Guess you didn't read the part where I said an experienced star player.

Warriors only the eighth team in history to finish with an average point differential of over 10.
The other seven teams? The 1970-71 and 1971-72 Bucks, the 1971-72 Lakers, the 1991-92, 1995-96 and 1996-97 Bulls and the 2007-08 Celtics. Six of those teams went on to win the championship; the only team that didn't was the 71-72 Bucks, who lost to the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

TEAM RECORD DIFFERENTIAL RESULT
1971-72 Lakers 69-13 +12.28 Champion
1970-71 Bucks 66-16 +12.26 Champion
1995-96 Bulls 72-10 +12.24 Champion
2014-15 Warriors 67-15 +10.1 ------ :sas2:
1971-72 Bucks 63-19 +11.16 Lost West Finals
1996-97 Bulls 69-13 +10.80 Champion
1991-92 Bulls 67-15 +10.44 Champion
2007-08 Celtics 66-16 +10.26 Champion

Aside from Lebron, how do the Cavs have more experience? :francis:

Hell I think Bogut is even easier to guard than Noah. shyt Bogut won't even try to shoot the ball and can't put the ball on the floor and dribble.

Bogut is bigger and more skilled around the hoop than the decomposing body of Noah that the Bulls were dragging around in that series

Bogut, Iggy, Shaun, Barbosa been in the league for awhile:mjpls:

Bogut yes he is a starter. But those other dudes will not be the deciding factor to determine who wins and loses. Folks were thinking that Orlando was gonna run through Houston too. Folks thought okc was gonna run through the heat.

Only time a very young team won a ring was when Bill Walton trail blazers beat the 76ers and doctor J.
