bubblin was the only joint that bought the energy paak usually brings. and its not even on the album. the hooks on the singles been flat af for some reason.
I agree, at first Bubblin' caught me off guard, but the video along with the energy on the song was more true to Paak's style than these other songs that actually are on the album. I'm thinking this album will have a lot of variation in the types of songs because they weren't able to really hone into a specific groove for it.

With Malibu and Yes Lawd! there's a consistent vibe sonically throughout both of those albums. Oxnard is sounding all over the place from what they've put out thus far.

Not bad :ehh:

Only one real low moment on the album but the rest is cool. I have to honest and say it's not better than anything that came before it despite some flashes of brilliance (Savier's Road, Smile/Petty, and Cheers), but nobody should be mad at this.

Yes Lad, Malibu and Venice all get regular play for last few years!

Unfair to hold Oxnard to that so early, but it bumps lovely, Bubblin woulda fit nice on here, especially with the Busta feature.

6 Summers though, still...….:blessed:
