Interscope have never hidden their dealings with Aftermath before, why would they all of a sudden start now with Anderson Paak?

Yup, Morris cut the check to go in on a venture deal with Aftermath to share Anderson on their team (which is just starting btw I think this was the debut release?)

Aftermath is now an independent company! They are no longer with interscope. Andy mentioned this in a couple interviews for the Oxnard run

Im a little shocked this album is getting the same or slight below reviews as Oxnard in some circles, despite the consensus this is better than that album. Then again its only a handful of reviews I seen

Some reviewers spend more time crafting their reviews than actually listening to the music

Not really feeling this album. I was really hoping i would too

After my second miss wit homie I finally realize that he is TOO gifted musically....his range is so wide that he has the ability to be all over the place sonically, especially him being the type to definitely tap into his creative bug deeply.....

I’ve never respected an artist but not felt his work like I do with homie....but imo he should be producing other artists

On track 9 rn, so far real nice. Definitely better than Oxnard, not sure if it's Malibu tho
