Nah not close to me. Malibu had better melodies and straight up bangers due to having hip hop producers involved. It's just a different beast.

I like this album and will keep listening. But I played Malibu weekly for over a year.

Same here, though I think this would have felt more cohesive had he used interludes like he did on malibu.

Hes got a big following breh, hes not a big seller in terms of the pop crowd but his fans fukk with him heavy.

Side note I had this album on repeat all day today at my Daughters birthday, had the kids dancing multiple times :ehh:

Thats the weird thing about this era, Chance is like that too.

Initially I was geeked that this was clearly a step BYKE in the right direction after the weedplate but I haven’t felt compelled to play this since my second spin weeks ago.

Now, A Paak’s song on the new Flylo is so dope I plan to revisit with clear conscious tomorrow but I think this is a 3.5 mic album frontin like a 4.
