I feel like his Mama’s death plays a part in his attitude towards returning to rap. 3stacks was still doing feature verses(Sorry-TI, Sixteen-Ross) around that time and then after her death he just fell off the face of the earth.

One thing that man loved to rap about was his mama. Hell, she was his whole motivation for blowing up and getting rich. Dre always would do lil commentaries in his verses about wanting the simple things in life. You got all this money and fame, and the one person you loved the most, the person you did it all for ain’t he even here no more.

If OutKast drop another album, or Andre drops a solo, that would be dope.

I sense that Andre is a bit scared to make more Hip Hop. His excuses are bullshyt but I guess he doesn't know what else to say. He doesn't feel the need to do it, but maybe one day that urge will come back. Age doesn't matter and it never did. Just do what makes sense for you. If hes miserable rapping then I don't need it anyway. Its a shame though, even if he just produced for other artists that would have been a better use of his musical skills than what hes been doing.

Wheres Big Boi? Its been a minute since he released new music, his stuff is always good.
