Andre 3k is looking silly using his age as an excuse not rap or drop an album now.

This thread gets made every 3-5 months.

Andre done told us for at LEAST 13 years he isn’t interested in rapping. Whether it be age, lack of motivation, fear, or whatever, he’s cited all of them.

Some people were born to rap forever like Nas and some were born to master the art and then bow out like Andre. It just is what it is.

I don't see how you run out of things to rap about. You get older you actually have more experiences, insight and reflection on what you've been through. Acting like you have to be HIP to be HIP HOP is dumb because the culture decides who is relevant, and if the older fans still rock with older artist with mature content, then it's not irrelevant, is it? Relevancy isn't only decided by the kids. It means it has to speak to TODAY'S relevant issues. Not just what kids think is life. That is the trick the industry uses because younger artists listen to their bosses and follow the leaders behind the scenes. They get jerked and jerk the audience with the same old. The formula for control over the music industry relies on younger, unaware artists. I don't think we've had a more willingly obtuse era than this, where not only the artists want no parts of real life, but so do the fans. Everyone is trained to shy away from talking about what's holding us back. They say hindsight is 20-20, so how can you not have anything to say when you're older? It seems like that's the time you'd make some of your best work. A lot of artists in other genres grow and create more introspective music in their older years.

If you think rapping about material goods and fukking someone else's girl is all rap is, then yes when you get older it seems foolish. If you think you have to be young to talk to people then yes, you will feel out of the loop. But if you can talk about personal struggles, social issues, family and living life, then why would you stop at your 30s? Lol the whole idea is stupid when you look at it. It's like letting the kids run the culture when they don't even know what they're after besides a check and clout. In fact if you don't have a balance of real life and balling/toasting/celebrating in your songs, then you're not being real in your music anyways. If you can't find a way to make your real life interesting and dope, then maybe you should hang it up. Otherwise, keep the art going and progressing.

Calling a grown man p*ssy because he lost interest in making a style of music is the weirdest shyt ever :mjlol: imagine tryna tell him to his face why you think he's p*ssy, you'd sound like the biggest herb.

You: "You p*ssy cuz you won't make music for me to listen to anymore :to: "

3stacks: :dwillhuh: but Im not interested in rapping anymo-

You: "That's p*ssy! :damn: "

Y'all some sad ass nikkas mane

Y'all give adult rap fans a bad name, learn how to rap yourself if it bothers you that much :francis:
Yeah its ironic as hell. Telling him to go do some grown man mature raps when these fans themselves sound like little kids.

Your entertainment is his life.

Let that man live his life in peace, he don’t owe you shyt.

He made some music you liked and you listened to it. When he ain’t doing that anymore go find something else to listen to.

He stopped rapping and never dropped a solo because he couldn’t live up to the hype, and so many idiots won’t just realize that

has always been very protective over his image, he knows if he doesn’t drop a detox level album his mystique will be over
