you think willingness to work is what determines who gets to be their own boss?:dahell:
I didn't say that. Read what I said carefully. The janitor probably works harder than the owner of the company. The owner took the neccessary steps to become the owner unless he inherited the business.

So the necessary work required to be an owner is what a lot of people aren't willing to do.

"KD's achilles was going to go out even if he didn't play in the finals"
and
"The calf always goes before the achilles"

If the Achilles injury was inevitable then KD shouldve been shut down immediately...
I wonder if it's what Isiah Thomas talked about where they said he had an achilles tear and it would never repair itself. So he just played on it anyway knowing it would eventually tear anyway.

Pricing out real fans line is tired
You’re not gona have the “great time out” prices and those 99$ 4 pack deals with 4 tickets 4 hot dogs 4 sodas 4 chips while maxing out players and making it to the finals 5 years in a row
Quality goes up Demand goes up and prices go up.

The same reason they couldn’t charge 100$ for club 200 in 2002 is the same reason they ain’t charging 10$ now.

what are the necessary steps?
Studying the ins and outs of the business for years if need be, being willing to put in hours of work without getting paid. Betting on yourself and being willing to jump out the proverbial plane without knowing if the parachute will work. Not being afraid to fail. Being willing to lose it all for your business.

Most people rather have less stress for the comfortabilty of a consistent paycheck.

I ain't rolling with that. I've been around too many companies where so much of who is making the big money boils down to connections or already having the money to afford the opportunity to build a company. Hell in my own company I thought the owner of the company was one of those people who grinded and built his own fortune. Come to find out his father fronted the capital to start up every company he started. Now it is possible to build from the ground up but the level of failure is very high for most businesses if they don't have the proper funding at the time of starting out.

Andre Igoudala said that, I didn't say that. I've never claimed to be an expert on sports injuries. Your interpretation game needs improvement.

I said the caveat was if they inherited the business.

:jbhmm: I feel like that mentality is less rare than you or andre think. I think most people just don't have the ability/resources to work without getting paid without going homeless or starving to death. Most people don't even have an "all" to lose for a business.:francis:
