ppl don't like like steph because he is a front running lame who shows up the other team dancing and doing stupid shyt on the court, but all that disappears when he is losing or the game is tight.

:stopitslime:

Players should keep that same energy and shimmy when your team is down by 38, brehs.

:jbhmm: I feel like that mentality is less rare than you or andre think. I think most people just don't have the ability/resources to work without getting paid without going homeless or starving to death. Most people don't even have an "all" to lose for a business.:francis:
One thing I've learned in life is that people find the time and money to get the things they feel they can't live without. It's the reason why a lot of poor people can find the money to get high or drunk everyday yet they can't put that $10 a day towards their kids college fund. They can find money for cigarettes yet can't buy their kids that toy they really want.

That first dumb ass shyt he said about the 1% working hard and everybody else being lazy almost made me turn this nikka off :camby:

I hate hearing people spew this dumbass theory, its so damn ignorant ....and if that is the case then his mama and daddy was lazy AF unless HE was born in the 1% :stopitslime: and its nothing that indicates that he was

Also the whole "real fans are priced out" line becomes mute, cause if we go by his logic then they aren't really priced out they just a bunch of lazy bums who need to work harder and then they can be in the 1% and affording tickets wont be a problem :hubie:

good interview minus the bullshyt :shaq2:

I said the caveat was if they inherited the business.
What I'm saying is inheriting a business isn't the only time connections are important. As I mentioned having proper funding. So even if you didn't inherent the business either you're stuck hoping to be approved for a big loan to fund your business (which studies have shown is harder being black) or hoping you know people with money to invest in you. So right there is a major roadblock for a lot of people hoping to be an entrepreneur. Also no matter how much you know about a business you have to have knowledge about selling, finances, management and other areas that aren't just about industry knowledge. If you have the right connections you have people that can provide insight and knowledge about running a business.

Basically starting and running a business isn't just a matter of having the right mentality or taking the right steps. A LOT of it goes down to having proper connections, proper financing, and the ability to live without a check for a long time. Most of us don't have that last luxury or have anybody to live off of while we build the business up. It's just shortsighted to say the 1% is 1% because they took the proper steps when there are plenty of failure stories of people who took the proper steps and yet still failed. Hell even a lot of those that built successful businesses had plenty of businesses fail before striking gold largely because so many factors have to fall into place for that success to happen.

There's a reason that the best predictor of future wealth is a family's previous wealth.

No one hates steph because he’s light. They hate him because he makes it look easy and he looks like a kid. People don’t respect people who look like kids. As a guy without facial hair, I know.

Then the other guy co-signs it. A few minutes later, he made a light skinned joke. :hhh:

I fukking hate the people who control the media, I swear.

We believe was a different energy. That fanbase never tasted success. Let the Raptors win 3 championships in 4 years and you'll see that enthusiasm dwindle after each one. The parades will thin each year.

The Bills would have more people at their parade than the Patriots at this point and their stadium would be louder if they start winning.

NO. The Patriots fan Support Growing over the years. 35,000 people showed up at the latest send off Rally for our latest super Bowl. in 2001 about 2,500 showed up.

and Our 6th Championship Rolling Rally drew 1.5 Million. Biggest one yet.

It's easier for some than others I'll agree. But let's look at minorities from the hood that made it in business. One of my muses is Daymond John, dudes mom bet her house on him making FUBU work. Dude worked at Red Lobster and invested damn near his entire paycheck into buying raw goods to make FUBU pop. He rode around in a bucket instead of a nice car and was a livery driver just to have money to eat because the Red Lobster money went into his business.

Dude basically stalked LL Cool J to get him to take a picture in FUBU.

He went to various video shoots out his own pocket begging rappers to wear his shirt in their videos. Most people aren't willing to do things like that in their spare time for free. That's what I mean when I say bet on yourself.

In the passenger seat
Got to the destination three times tho. Most don't even get there once. And not sure I'd say averaging 26 ppg in the finals is passenger seat but since Rachel Nichols finals MVP vote means so much to you I'll let you cook.
