Didnt iggy hurt his hamstring?

Hamstrings usually linger.

They need to fire jacksons bum ass
he showed flashes of :flabbynsick: last season, which he was able to hide under Karl's system.

I tried telling @Blackthoughts giving 12 mil over 4 years to a 30 year old who depends heavily on his athleticism wasn't the best idea. I tried. :yeshrug:

the warriors had a lot of injuries this year so that record comparison is misleading. it's too early to call this a bust or not, but he was coming off a great year and filled a need for the warriors.

the warriors can hang with any team in a 7 game series even if iggy continues to play at this level so i'm not too worried about it. bogut and jermaine staying healthy is a bigger concern.

They had a lot of injuries last season too.

If it was me I wouldn't have bothered signing Iggy & kept developing Barnes. They got gassed up off last season & pushed their chips in a season too early instead of letting guys grow & see what they thought about them. Instead they gave up a few 1st rounders to sign a guy who is potentially stunting the growth of Barnes.

keep in mind that Iggy:

- is an elite defender
- can handle the ball
- can attack the rim
- can run the floor
- can shoot decently

On paper he was a perfect fit for the Warriors and still could be.

he's an elite defender tho

and his offense should improve in time too

he could still be the perfect fit for this team IMO

elite ? who has this dude ever shut down ? sorry but his contributions are not worth 13 mil. just admit right now this a terrible signing.

8 ppg :russ:

team once again looking at a 6-8 seed, just like last year.

stunting harrison barnes growth

will lose barnes or thompson for a guy who hasnt made a significant impact on the team

the money could have been better spent :manny:

no they didn't. curry and ezeli played in 78 games, klay in 82, lee, jack and green in 79, landry and barnes 81, bogut in 32 and a few more players with 50+ games. this year iggy has missed 12 games, jermaine 20+, bogut 18 and ezeli hasnt played a game this year. the front court has been thin for them this year and without ezeli, jermaine or bogut, they dont have a legit rebounder and that is part of what's killing them, not iggy.

dont let the record fool you. if the playoff standings were to hold as is, then the warriors would get matched up against the blazers who they would beat.

Man I been saying this shyt for the longest to myself just hoping maybe dude could pull it around after the injury but man.....he is just not good.

The Jack-Curry-Klay lineup was some DEADLY ass shyt because teams couldn't afford to bluff on Jack's shot. With Iggy it's like, "nikka shoot it I dare you you brick laying fukk". Iggy's defense is overrated and really, he is TRASH with the offense. Every single time he is at the FT line I tell people around me "five bucks says he splits this bytch".

yup. jack gives you a secondary ballhandler, and he was finishing lots of games last season as well. if barnes ain't built for the 4th quarter, then u put klay at the 3 and steph at the 2 with jack at the PG. like you said, this would have allowed them more cap flexibility and maybe allow them to keep both klay and barnes.

:snoop: Jack was so goddamn underrated it's not even funny. He was HUGE n/h in closeout situations

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the Warriors hold opponents to 10 less points a game when Iggy is on the floor breh

Barnes is my favorite player in the league but he can't defend shyt and is can't handle the ball and a has a lot of other deficiencies he needs to work on before he's ready to really fit in with this roster
