No it hasn't. The talk of the series has been the Cavs low ORTG because Iggy has single covered Bron most of the time. The Warriors started doubling James in an attempt to speed the game up once the ball was out of his hands - not because Iggy was having trouble and they needed to double him. Dude has been 1 on 1 with him most of the series. Even JVG the GOAT said Cleveland's best play on offense boils down to Post up ANYONE but Iguodala with James, and if Iggy is on him PnR to get Iggy off of him. That nikka is the #1 problem for Cleveland this series. Cleveland's defense has been fire, but the offense stinks. And that credit is to the Nigerian Nightmare himself

The talk of the series? :mjlol: According to who?

Why would anyone expect the Cavs to have a high ORTG in this series? Outside of LeBron they have one of the worst and least efficient offensive lineups in finals history against an elite defensive team. The Cavs having a low ORTG in this series is EXPECTED. Their goal was never to beat GS by being an efficient, productive offensive team. Their goal was to play physical, slow the game down, and win the series playing defense. They've almost done that thus far.

And since you like quoting JVG so much.. you do know he's been saying over and over that LeBron should be MVP right :skip:

The Cavs were butchering Gs with Lebron being guarded by Draymond or Barnes in G1. Kerr immediately said fukk that and stuck Iggy on him. Dude has said after every game Iggy has been their key guy. The Cavs ORTG would have been wild status if it weren't for Iggy. Cavs winning 2 games in this series is already an upset - and they've been in every single game. The only reason they haven't won is because Lebron's shooting disgusting %s. Who do you put that on? Steph Curry? :russ:

Lebron is the GOAT. He really should be Finals MVP. The job he's doing is :salute:. But this is about the dude who's carrying the team that is favored and more than likely will win the chip. :umad:

What are you even talking about.. their ORTG was gonna be trash this series regardless.. Did you see game 2? The Cavs won with LeBron having a terrible offensive game, solely because of their D. Nobody was butchering anyone offensively. Did you just learn about advanced metrics or something? You're trying to way too hard to apply this one to this series.

There's no direct correlation between LeBron's FG % and the results of the series. He shot 57% in the Finals last year and got smoked by the Spurs. He's shooting 39% this year and is in a tight 3-2 series, and the only reason the Cavs aren't up is because Curry got off in the 4th and they had no answer defensively on Sunday.

LeBron just had his second best offensive game of the series with Iggy playing hist most minutes of any game in the series.

Nikka aint nobody out here ignoring playoff stats and saying it aint part of their career. I'm looking at bball ref and I don't see a "career stats" page. It's RS and PS stats. Stop making shyt up.

Yea, thats what we all thought - until Lebron started mowing everyone not named Iggy down. I used to be up on APBRmetrics years ago, don't get silly. The only reason the Cavs offense hasn't beaten the Warriors down is because of 1 man.

Lebron's FG% is a big correlation to the result of this series. How you gonna mention advanced metrics and not know the biggest weight out of the 4 factors of bball is efg%? the Cavs ORTG is shyt because Lebron, who's using a massive amount of possessions can barely make it over 40% raw FG%. If he's even close to 60%+ EFG the Warriors would be done. Period. How you gonna bring up last year with Miami and this year and not even mention the critical difference in teams. Reason they are in this outside of defense is their wild OREB% and time of possession. Miami last year wasn't going to rebound shyt even with LeGoat shooting ungodly well. Stop it.

The Cavs offense hasn't beat the Warriors cause of one man? Really? So the fact that Smith, Shumpert and Dellatoyota's TS% is each .400 or below, with two stiffs inside with no post game has nothing to do with that? Are you out of your goddamn mind?

Why are you trying to use stats to deny what you are watching right in front of you eyes? Are you even watching the games, or are you just looking at stats that you barely even understand what they mean to try to formulate a point? In LeBron's two best and most efficient offensive games, the Cavs LOST. On the flipside, they won game 2 in his worst offensive game of the series. How can you watch that unfold, and then sit here and tell me LeBron's offensive efficiency has been the difference in this series? :dahell:

The Cavs were never going to win this series by being a better offensive team than the Warriors.. they were going to win it by shutting them down defensively.

LBJ should win the award whether or not the Cavs win the title.
If it has to be a Warrior, give it to Curry for the nuclear war he unleashed in the 4th Q of Game 5.

Why would they give it to LeBron when he continues to struggle down the stretch, while Curry takes over and has hit big shot after big shot..

Don't get blinded by LeBron's empty stats.. He's shootjng 16% and avg 4ppg in the 4th this series..

Cats are shooting terrible because Lebron isn't able to dominate and get them easy buckets like always. Like I said - Cavs offense SHOULD have struggled anyway. Big reason I had GS in 5. Soon as Kerr saw the shyt going down Iggy came in and stopped Lebron from running their offense. Cavs can't even get a pick and roll to kick out to open shooters easily because of him - that's why dudes are shooting terrible. The Cavs have ONE man that can dominate in a series that's been close every game for majority of them and he isn't - who is responsible?

Just give the man his damn credit :what:
