I hate this narrative going around that Lebron should win MVP even if his team loses.:stopitslime: Iggy should get it unless Curry has a monster game 6.:manny:

Cats are shooting terrible because Lebron isn't able to dominate and get them easy buckets like always. Like I said - Cavs offense SHOULD have struggled anyway. Big reason I had GS in 5. Soon as Kerr saw the shyt going down Iggy came in and stopped Lebron from running their offense. Cavs can't even get a pick and roll to kick out to open shooters easily because of him - that's why dudes are shooting terrible. The Cavs have ONE man that can dominate in a series that's been close every game for majority of them and he isn't - who is responsible?

Just give the man his damn credit :what:

No.. Cavs are shooting terrible because they ARE terrible. Delly and Shumpert are trash offensive players. Nothing is expected from them and they are living up to that. Smith is bricking the same looks he always gets.

Iggy gets credit.. he's doing a good job this series hitting open jumpers and playing solid D, but to say he has carried them, or that he's somehow shutting down LeBron, makes you look like a dumbass. Nothing he has done this series has been more important than Curry's performance in a crucial game 5.

This series has proven that LeBron having a great offensive game (like he did Sunday AGAINST IGGY which you keep ignoring) doesn't = a victory.

The ONLY WAY the Cavs can win this series is lockdown D, and they can win like that even if LeBron shoots terrible.

You can definitely argue that Iggy has been their most important player so far. However, the only way he'll win FMVP is if he replicates his Game 4 performance, while Curry has a poor game and the Warriors win 4-2. Any other scenario and it'll be between Curry or LeBron.

You can't have 3 shytty games then expect praise because you came out if your slump, like Curry. I would give it to Iggy way before Curry, as it stands now. But really neither one of those nikkaz deserve it.

Nikka aint nobody out here ignoring playoff stats and saying it aint part of their career. I'm looking at bball ref and I don't see a "career stats" page. It's RS and PS stats. Stop making shyt up.

Yea, thats what we all thought - until Lebron started mowing everyone not named Iggy down. I used to be up on APBRmetrics years ago, don't get silly. The only reason the Cavs offense hasn't beaten the Warriors down is because of 1 man.

Lebron's FG% is a big correlation to the result of this series. How you gonna mention advanced metrics and not know the biggest weight out of the 4 factors of bball is efg%? the Cavs ORTG is shyt because Lebron, who's using a massive amount of possessions can barely make it over 40% raw FG%. If he's even close to 60%+ EFG the Warriors would be done. Period. How you gonna bring up last year with Miami and this year and not even mention the critical difference in teams. Reason they are in this outside of defense is their wild OREB% and time of possession. Miami last year wasn't going to rebound shyt even with LeGoat shooting ungodly well. Stop it.
It doesn't matter what Lebron's fg% is because it always gonna be better than anyone else's on the Cavs

Curry went MIA for damn near 4 games, that's a big negative. Curry put his head down, Iggy stuck his chest out.

:mindblown: Game 2 is the only bad game he's had in the series. Where did this narrative come from?

He's averaging 26/5/5 on .591 TS%, and that is with a god awful game 2 dragging those numbers down. Those are MVP numbers. He has been no doubt the most important player on the Warriors because of what he's produced offensively, and the impact he's had on the court to open things up for everyone else.

Curry had no impact on the first 3 games

So 26 pts and 8 assists in Game 1 is no impact? 27/6/6 in game 3 is no impact? He even had an impact on game 2 - just a negative one. He played shytty and the Warriors lost, that's an impact.

It's clear to me that... to paraphrase Floyd Mayweather... you don't know shyt about basketball.

Dude, without Iggy, the series is over by now. He has has done a decent job on guarding Lebron. Lebron is missing a lot of blowbys that he usually makes but you have to give Credit to Iggy for making him uncomfortable on them. It started in Game 1 when he decided to settle for that 3pt. Any other defender, he would have taken that thing to the hoop and GSW would be feeling like Atlanta right now

And if you took Curry off GSW what would this series be looking like? How would they score on Cleveland's defense? They might get swept.

Once again.. there are a lot of valuable pieces to a championship team. Iggy is one of those. There is only one who is the MOST valuable.
That is not Iggy.
