as a human being (as far as we know), sure.... but not in the ring.
Ward's career wasn't/hasn't been as long (obviously) but take away the actual mainstream financial success, there isn't much that separates Mayweather and Ward. They both took out nearly all of the eligible competition around the weight classes they participated in, both had Olympic success (Ward more so), and both retire undefeated.

off topic, but who was that one UFC red-haired white dude that quit MMA mid-fight because Urijah Hall was giving him hands and he was tired of getting hit?? :heh:

They're equals in the ring. Andre has been just as dominant as Floyd

Just like I used to say about Triple G and others when people compare resumes to Floyd's resume, who are the HOFers that Ward fought?

That is not a knock on Ward either, and you can only fight whats in front of you. He ducked no one either, but its the real. Its like saying John Calzaghe>Floyd, in my mind.

Floyd's resume is better than theres because he legit fought p4p top of the list guys. Cannot say that about Ward.

This wasn't your main point but that has to be the worst comparison you can make. Calzaghe didn't fight the other top guys in his division during their primes when he always had that opportunity to. You can't compare him to Ward.

What you're saying is cool, but like you said, Ward could only fight who he fought. And it's not as though the majority of the Hall of Famers Floyd fought were at their peaks when he fought them either, at least later in his career, which is also not necessarily his fault (he had more control over this though).

and thats all that matters when comparing the two in the ring.

The Froch, Kessler and KKKrusher wins were very good and probably the best of his career. All 3 were the elite of the division at the times of the fights.
definitely.

the Dawson destruction was a big win for him as well.
