Democrats are definitely using Puerto Rico to get some points but again it’s not going to work for the same reason pandering to Mexicans on immigration issues isn’t going to help

White people are not gonna care about PR no matter how many history lessons you give them and black people are not going to get enthused because it’s not a black issue plus there are plenty of Puerto Rican’s that support trump or the republican party so its a net negative in the end

The way I see it, the existential threat that these CACs feel globally about immigration is a direct result of their policy of colonization and exploitation. When you have a single minded focus on hate, greed, trickery, and exploitation you end up shooting yourself in the foot. I pay to God that Europe gets over run by black and brown people. Same with America. White people do not belong on this side of the globe anyway.

That kinda thinking isn’t gonna work for black people, most brown and yellow people are not your friends and they will do what is in their interests and for the most part their interest is to see black people in the bottom

For example Latin America has a 500 year history of enslaving and oppressing blacks, the notion that a horde of people from Latin America is gonna be in black peoples interest is absurd

If black people are at the bottom of the socio economical ladder in Latin American why would that change in an America dominated by Latinos?

Same goes for the Muslim/Arab world

Caribbean and African people are slowly being dominated by the Chinese in their own countries.....

Black people need a better plan than crossing fingers and praying for a black brown coalition

People conflate being racist with being against illegal immigration

Now...I'm sure there are millions of racist whites who are against immigration but, for the normal non-crazy people, you can't let in 12 million undocumented people. You just can't. Those unskilled illegal immigrants are going to underbid for labor against legal American citizens. When Democrats argue back "well, you shouldn't be competing with Juan and Carlos for a job anyway"......guess what genius.....you just insulted someone that was going to vote Democrat, lost their vote and pushed them into voting Republican/Independent. Smart strategy. When you move higher up the ladder, the H1b visa holders lower wages for American workers. Tech companies prey on these Indian/Asian/Arabic job seekers because A) they can pay them less, promote them less and keep their wage growth stagnant over time B) the workers have NO leverage because if they quit, their visa is canceled C) their lives are so fukked up back home they're willing to accept things American workers aren't to get over here. This adversely affects American workers. So whether you're talking about blue collar workers doing trades or nikkas in corporate America, allowing millions and millions of people to come over to compete and take jobs away from Americans aint the wave. In the UK or the EU, you have to be highly skilled before they'd even think about giving a job (and justifying getting a visa) to you over a German or a Dutchman or a Frenchman. Shouldn't be any different here
