Democrats can appeal to whomsoever they want. As long as corporate personhood is a thing, political voices will be as inconsequential as ceiling fans in a hurricane.
Both are going to a run off
Didn't realize that David Perdue ended up with less than 50% of the vote as they initially pegged him as the winner. Even then, it's still going to be an uphill battle to him one of those seats let alone two. All they need is at least one of them to break the Senate majority.
Promise a "big beautiful stimulus" as Trump said and every breh in Georgia will come out and vote![]()
It's literally going to be an all hands on deck situation and they are going to have to do something different to win either one of those two seats. The spending hundreds of millions of dollars to help their candidates win didn't exactly work out the way they planned as the majority of their candidates in vulnerable states lost bad.
The one thing working against them and even they know it is that voter turnout always tends to be lower in runoffs which ends up benefitting the Republicans in the end.
What you said is exactly right thats why the dems needs to basically promise money to get everyone in Georgia out to vote. An attractive stimulus that is attractive to young and black folks is their only chance.
Depending on HOW you’re addressing the working class, you’re largely benefiting the black population as well. That’s why they still love him.
Nope.We ain’t getting shyt over these next four years.
And that's why I say that corporate Democrats are not the answer Justice Democrats areI mean at some points he's right that Dems need to improve on selling leftist policies that improve the working class. But he's obviously also saying that Dems should focus less on racial issues as well like BLM and whatever to appease scared whites who might be turned off by cultural inclusion issues. It's not like he's the only with this point however, because that working class platform was the same thing that Bernie focused instead of racial issues and a lot of minorities still loved him. We'll see where the party goes because I don't have an easy answer.
You are talking about these corporate Democrats that are more center right then leftflordia voted for a 15 dollar/hr minimum wage... and also said fukk the democrats at the same time
the problem with the dems is that they're told time and again EXPLICITLY what their core voters and repub-opposition want - and they instead opt for some middle ground bullshyt that satisfies no one. you can apply the racial disingenuousness to damn near all of their platforms. women's rights, healthcare, worker protections, immigration, foreign policy, climate, etc. they know what their core voters want.
instead, they invite jon kasich to the convention and lose ohio anyways![]()
they run the dnc soYou are talking about these corporate Democrats that are more center right then left
Theyll find some other group of muthafukkas to give a fukk about in these upcoming years.Democrats need to do a lot of things reaching out to the working class millennials and black people especially as one of them.
Now that this election is over I can thoroughly criticize the failures of the Democratic Party.
Next time running on we're not X is not good enough
