She doesn't create enough space to get her shots up. If she's playing someone similar size she can bang with em and get up clean looks but when it's these bigger girls who realize they just need to keep they hands high it's a problem. So either she gotta get more crafty with the footwork or attack from a little further out and use her quickness

There's a sophomore slump, and theres whatever tf she's doing currently. She's terrible and this amount of regression is abnormal. Does she even truly want to play basketball?
Not really a slump. It's really the same product with a lesser volume.

Only difference is last year Weatherspoon ran the offense through her most of the time which lead to her getting more touches...leading to inflated stats.

She’s leading the league in rebounding. Obviously she’s not the type of offensive player that’s going to take over a game by herself. At LSU, she was part of a system that had talent. Chicago doesn’t know how to use her or build around her. They don’t have a pg that can run a damn offense.

Having a PG or not is inconsequential when it comes to her inability to finish a shot two feet from the rim. A point guard isnt going to miraculously make it easier for her to make what should be the most efficient shot in basketball. You have players damn near a foot shorter than her in the WNBA that are shooting 20%+ better than she is in the paint. That's a skill issue. A "her" issue, not a "them" problem.

Players miss easy layups all the time. Including players like A’ja Wilson.
