what position would make shooting 35% FG a good thing? :jbhmm:

No one said it was "good", but I'm counting 9 NBA players who shot under 40% and still won Rookie of the Year, most recently Jason Kidd in 1995 at 38%, and several of the others were centers. More recently, MCW won ROY in 2014 shooting 40% and Bron won it in 2004 shooting 41.7%.

But it's irrelevant anyway cause we're still early in the season so it's a small sample size and she isn't winning ROY based on her play so far.

Fever play in the same arena the Pacers play in, seats 18k

Sky play in the same arena as the DePaul University bball teams, seats 10k

A quarter of the league plays in buildings holding less than 10k
If there was a demand for it, they'd move to a bigger arena.

The Fever used to play at Indiana Farmers Coliseum where a sellout is 6,800 and Hinkle Fieldhouse where a sellout is 9,100.

Good. the biggest thing that WNBA is messing was drama to keep people talking... YOu can say people are talking for the wrong reason, but 12 pages is record for WNBA topics. Developing rivalries, beefs, and personalities, while having the most eyes on WNBA to begin an aggressive expansion. The only thing that I say is that they got to start protecting CC from dirty shyt and maybe make an example out of someone that tries to blindside her again. WNBA doesn't take metoric rise if CC gets beat up and never become great.

So basically like watching love and hip hop or basketball wives type reality shows, makes sense :whew:

They're just being women honestly all of this shyt is petty and low brow
The women were not equipped to handle the increased attention they are now receiving. They begged and pleaded for it but now that it's here they are doing and saying all the wrong things.
this....they're out of their depth.
It’s showing how women aren’t capable of keeping shyt just business without being emotional and worrying about who’s getting credit for what
Nah breh they're just acting the way they always act but now eyes are on them.

One thing I've noticed about females in the work place is how petty they could be towards other females:yeshrug:

Sheed and Rip just claimed the 2004 Pistons could beat the Steph-KD Warriors, and posters just think it's funny. Dozens of old players trashing the current game and saying they could score 40-50 in this era....and posters try to back them up. Calling current players soft, or lacking fundamentals, or not competitive enough, all sorts of other petty swipes.

Angel Reese (correctly) says that Caitlyn Clark isn't the only wnba draw out there, and for some reason it's making half of ya'all take shots at women in general.

What Sheed said was WAY dumber than Angel Reese said. So it's interesting how his comment doesn't reflect on all men (even though all sorts of NBA players just trying to downplay the current game), but what Angel Reese says somehow reflects on all women.
