It’s interesting watching this play out in real time. It’s showing how women aren’t capable of keeping shyt just business without being emotional and worrying about who’s getting credit for what
so what should they do? treat her with kids gloves, let her win and cake? how does that make sense in a real competitive sport?

yall gotta stop with the bullshyt. the WNBA is a tough league to get into in the first place. there's very few spots, nobody about to give it up for an unproven rookie.

i swear yall would not have this mentality any any other sport/league.

Just Win Baby
Fever play in the same arena the Pacers play in, seats 18k

Sky play in the same arena as the DePaul University bball teams, seats 10k

A quarter of the league plays in buildings holding less than 10k

And last year Fever were only averaging 4K, best believe if they played in a 10k stadium they would be 10K cacs in that bytch. The point is no one is moving the needle like Caitlin, every teams biggest home game this year is when Caitlin is in the building

What should they do? Idk just outplay her and let everything else sort itself out. The way they’re handling it right now just comes off as misdirected hate

But the attention is coming because of Clark. The attendance and ratings numbers back that up.

Clark bringing eyeballs to the game is good for everybody. That rising tide lifts all boats. The WNBA has basically been a tax write-off for its entirety and now it has its biggest buzz since the league's inception.

Look at the average viewership of ESPN's first five games from this season compared to the last few years :skip:

The media savvy response to questions about Clark should be something along the lines of: "I think it's great that she's generating so much interest in our league. I hope when people watch Fever games, they come away talking about the other great players they see competing against Clark and wind up checking out other teams as well. The attention she gets is great for the league as a whole."

The Liberty just drew 2million at the gate, something they've never done before
