i get what she's saying, but it would have come across better if she said people are paying more attn "...not just because of one person, but all the good talent that has been in this league."

like it or not a lot more people are paying attn because of caitlin. a lot of great players already in the league or long gone is true. but been hard to even catch wnba games because rarely on majors or even broadcast. that caitlin stimulus is changing that.

and shorty that bowed caitlin for just living was doing too much. i know why she mad, but mad at the wrong person.

I wanna say the only needle movers in Woman's Ball going forward is gonna be Clark and Juju. There might be better and worse players but those two just have it.

I think Reese has proven her draw as far as a commercial personality but no one is tuning to ESPN to see her hustle for boards, switch on defense, and launch shots at the hoop. If she improves, skies the limit tho (no pun intended).

Just now watching the video, and she’s right. It did all start because of the National Championship game. It goes back to what I said in previous threads. If Iowa somehow played a different opponent (a more white team) and/or Angel didn’t do the hand wave, that same momentum wouldn’t have carried over into 2024. With that said, LSU had to beat Iowa, otherwise, Angel wouldn’t have become as popular as she is either.

I completely disagree. You need that star player to bring the eyes to it in the first place and then while watching that star you hope that they enjoy the product and stick around. From there people eventually develop allegiances to teams. We've seen in the 25 years of the WNBA that nobody is watching so they need as many eyes as possible on it.

I know a couple women that have never thought about watching a WNBA game that has made Caitlyn appointment TV.
