People either didn't see Eboni response video to the original video or just purposely acting like they don't understand. Nobody cares that Eboni won't date a Bus Driver, it's the nastiness in her approach that states that jobs like that are mediocre and calling out black men for making C's and D's in school like that has anything to do with the topic at hand.

Im bout to cut this off 1 minute in, she naming off her whole family history like the book of Genesis
Cause she actually remembers what she came from. It's in line with her point about.. remembering what you came from.

I remember hearing about her family before and it sounded like she's Boule. Maybe Eboni is super Boule.

Angela Rye actually grew up in privileged circumstances while Eboni did not. I feel like that probably factors into these strong opinions.
Angela grew up in privileged circumstances? How?

Her dad was always on code and a revolutionary. And that is why his daughter unapologetically Black. She has a degree in law, because she had a scholarship. She didn’t grow up privileged, nor did she suffer.

Also, Angela was not put on the bench asked this question. But she made it known how she looks at this, if asked.

The question was not literal, but metaphorical. So people arguing that Angela has not dated a real bus driver is irrelevant.

What is relevant is that Angela has her own company where she has dozens of (Black) employees. And it passing on her skills and experience onto the next generation. Whereas the other one is just running her mouth all day. So for me it’s Angela Rye all the way…

Privileged compared to her peers. I’m privileged compared to my peers growing up. I wasn’t rich but I was raised in a house with 2 parents. When I say privileged I don’t mean silver spoon. Eboni was raised by a single mother

She went to a all girls Catholic boarding school that cost $20k a year to attend

:mjlol: This is why I was annoyed by her "Sista gurl" act

She grew up in Madison Park, SE

The median household income for residents of Madison Park, Seattle is $139,326, while the median individual income is $56,525.

 black ppl gotta stop stop taking "privileged" as an insult

I was raised by a military father...never knew a real struggle as a child, either
