I like how God let the car crash and burn but his book survived. How about you stop the fukking car from crashing and burning instead of keeping your precious fukking book intact:francis:

'it's a miracle':francis:
'god saved me' yeah, right after he almost turned you into a crispedy ass piece of meat :francis:

Dude wasn't even in critical condition. Vehicles can be replaced. Not like it drove itself or something.

Don't you think it would be better to avoid this incident entirely instead of letting it happen and then somehow be thankful you weren't deep fried?

I personally would prefer the pre-emptive approach, but ya boy god seems to love watching things pan out.

For example, if I had a daughter, I would teach her self defence before something happened to her, instead of after. But hey, who am I to argue the logic of a genocidal higher being :yeshrug:

Mohammed would beat the brakes off Jesus in a fist fight btw :umad:

Why give us choice if every bad thing could be preemptive? Sounds like that Adam Sandler movie "Click".

Why give us choice if he already pre-ordained everything that would happen? Why give us the illusion of free will when he apparently so often intervenes by answering certain prayers and saves certain people? Is he gonna let us do our thing without complaining or is he gonna stick his fingers in our motherfukking business talking about that ain't the right way?

I'm supposed to labour under the assumption that my entire life is already decided by God, yet I can somehow pray and try and change his mind and he can intervene to save me despite having destined me for an early death?

Do we have freedom or not?

:dame:I'm not on the scripture tip. However, Angels are WARRIORS. Not saviors. People make shyt up cause its heartwarming.

You just get lucky sometimes. Meanwhile we over here praising "angels" for saving someone, you can bet people are in Juarez right now praying just before

a bullet hits them. Be thankful you aren't getting snatched out of this life (yet) in some horrible way, cause a lot of other folks ain't lucked up like we are.
Where did I fail? Why are you so jaded?

Did I work too much? Was I away from home too much?

Woman who was two grades ahead of me in high school and was working in the US ambassador office for crushed by a semi that plowed through her car.
Same for a kid one grade below me.
Guess the Angels were just late, huh? :mjpls:

I really don't know why it bothers so many people on here that certain posters believe in God or a higher power. If you don't believe in what they believe, then let them do them in peace.
The proof of God is in the evil of those hateful posters you are talking about...what irritates them is the uncomfort the evil within them feels when they see God spoken of...they disguise it as annoying, or lamens confusion, or people's foolishness or bible thumping ....but in reality it is the spirit they have allowed to exist inside that causes them to lash out at posters speaking of their faith and belief. They can't allow believers to do it in peace because their infected spirits NATURALLY lash out at what it hates. Own and protect your souls folks:martin:

Do we have freedom or not?

We have a choice because we are responsible for our actions.

Jonah 1:2-4 KJV
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. [3] But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord , and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord . [4] But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

Jonah had a choice and we know how that worked out. Nineveh had a choice aslo.

If I said I knew you would eat ice cream later and put a bowl of ice cream and a bowl of rocks on a table don't you still have a choice?

Love has to be freely given. It can't be forced. God will not force you into Heaven against your will.
