I know. I'm just sayin I think it's more about his love for Biggie than his NY allegiance. Ive had similar arguments with him as far as Nas vs Biggie. And since Pac beefed wit Biggie he has this hate for Pac.

Never heard that name but you've seen BIG chillin wit a lot of dudes, is this guy even in one pic? Oh HE said he was BIG's man huh. Look, I'm sure dudes involved knew BIG and others but what Pac did turning this into a whole stupid beef that resulted directly or indirectly in both of their deaths is just ridiculous. You know who Jimmy Henchman is. Go find him and handle business or shut the fukk up. I'm sure a lot of this was money/fame driven anyway.

BIG didn't know Pac was even coming to the studio that night. Some cats in another studio knew (Lil Shawn I believe) but BIG didn't. I'm sure he found out quick but what was he supposed to do? And you say BIG was running with them...running with Jimmy Henchman? No. He may have known him, but you aint never heard they was cool like that. Point blank, Pac was paranoid. Maybe he had reason to be. But somehow, Jimmy having him robbed (the shooting was not even supposed to happen) turned into this whole I hate Biggie thing that eventually led to the worst time in our culture.

Jimmy said he had studio sessions with BIG.Said a lot of those street tales BIG used to put in his music came from him & the stories he used to tell Big about his time in the drug game.

And I've always said Pac was using Big as a punching bag to fukk with the nikkaz behind the scenes who had invested in Bad Boy.It was said that Puff/Bad Boy was being used to help legitimize some of the "dirty" drug money them nikkaz was accumulating.

Big was the face of Bad Boy, so of course, he'd be maybe the main target in a smear campaign.


You have to understand Pac's mind state.He really thought he could employ "Art Of War" tactics/Machiavellian principles in a "war" against those he perceived as his enemies in the rap game.


Some of it was probably hocus pocus/misdirection....Anything to gain leverage is fair game.Especially since the nikkaz you're going against have already proven to be unfair & corrupt.Maybe the Biggie beef was "propaganda", but it's all strategy.Big was never the REAL target.Just a means to an end.


I still believe at the end of the day, Pac didn't want an actual, full-on war with Jimmy/Jacque/A Team etc etc... whatever you wanna call them.


I think he just wanted enough power to call for a dialogue.He had to dig himself outta of the hole first.That's why Jimmy told him "You don't have the money to go to war against me" Jimmy had "nuclear power".Pac didn't.Countries with nukes don't have to listen to countries without nukes.It's the threat of being able to blow each other off the map that forces you to the meeting table.Only then can you discuss stipulations and squash it.


I think that's the way his beef with Jimmy and them niccaz would've played out.Pac would've had to become a "Don" himself.Not necessarily on no mafia/gangsta shyt, but just having some power/influence/leverage behind you.


And if you listen to his interviews when he first got to Death Row, he always referred to himself as a "Capo"...He said Suge was the Don.


He didn't add the "Don" until he changed his name to Makaveli....He was done with his contractual obligations to Death Row by that point.He was about to start his own record label (Euthanasia)and establish his own power base.

But then Vegas happened
