It was excellent but the story never finished, they lost funding I believe... and it got cancelled... Mumra just got the twin blades and was about to put in work on lion-o, the last episode I seen was how they forged the Original Sword of Omens...

Yeah, the Outlaw Star crew did win but the McDougall brothers were still alive (remember they bodied Gene's pops) and the Galactic Leyline moved to another location. They could have continued with more outer space fukkery IMO. In fact, there was a second season planned but it sounded ass.
