She won an Oscar for this shyt:skip:

I keep telling these nikkas, they overhyped this movie just because she looks great and was nude:pachaha:

First 45 minutes was great for obvious reasons and then that last hour and 30 minutes was the most over the top stupid shyt I done seen in a minute

I knew when i kept seeing this thread on the first page, it was not because of the acting or well written script :russ:

Watching this now.
I'm an hour in and this is the movie mafukkas was talking like it was 1 of the best of the year? :mjlol:

This shyt comes off like there is no script at all and they just freestyling like all Sean Baker movies except all his movies before seem more like a slice of life made with mostly real non actors.

This comes off like a movie with real actors with no script and no direction whatsoever and just dragging on.

I see the only reason this shyt got hype was cause the main actress got nude and all the sex scenes. :mjlol:

Hollywood so corny.

This shyt is aimless.

*edit
Been watching this shyt for an hour and 26 mins and really shyt ain't happening and it's over 51 mins left and they just driving around yelling. :dead:

I'm contemplating turning this off.

This shyt slow, long, tedious and aimless gah damm.

Terrible movie for what it was...and reminds of when Halle Berry got the Oscar based off rough sex scenes

She was truly an annoying bytch and unbelievable

I really enjoyed this movie. I think people are downgrading it because of the subject matter but I have no proof of that. I thought the subject matter was compelling because it's rarely discussed, but it happens to so many people. As usual Bake did a great job of highlighting the class and social differences and how precarious some people's lives are because of these differences. I was surprised at how funny it was, and I appreciate the balance of humor with the dark undertone of the situation. That ending was super sad though but fitting. For me, this was a really hard role for an unknown actress to pull off and carry, so I think while I would have given the Oscar to Demi, I'm not made at Mickey for winning. Now as for Best Picture? That should have Wicked. But yeah, I'd give this a 8.5/10, just because of pacing in the second act.

Late to the party. Movie kinda subverted my expectations. Basically uncut gems on a stripper pole :ehh: .

Shorty was in denial like a mf. Somebody should've played homie that Project Pat or at least the Roy Lee comedy skit :francis:

Why does Mikey Maddison look good in the strip club scenes but when it shows her walking around in broad daylight she looks homely af
