Y’all trying to compare this to a BBL are trippin. This is by far more dangerous and possibly completely debilitating. Cutting bone and adding shyt in between, the hell?. (The main reasons BBLs are dangerous are that women stack them with multiple other surgeries like tummy tucks and breast augmentation, they go to cut rate clinics in the DR, and many of them are having too much fat removed/not good candidates for surgery and still doing it because clinics overseas will look the other way…so please don’t try to say BBL’s are dangerous).

It's very complicated. Gene therapy alone won't open up the growth plates for adults. Although, I suppose advances in stem cell research to regenerate growth plates could allow for that as well as ensuring the entire body grows proportionately.
