If thats the case black people should just stick with the facts of the deadly encounter. Rather than celebrating,or trying to immortalize the people themselves. Would keep situations like this from happening.
So give police, a institution filled to the brim with white supremacist, the benefit of the doubt and let them investigate themselves:jbhmm:

He fired into a woman's apartment with her and her children inside. He then fired at the cops and got put down. I'm not sure what else needs to be discussed.

There's lots to discuss, people don't want to have the discussions though. Specifically about the double standards. I'm fine with it though, although gun laws are changing as well as other things it's pretty much beating a dead horse. I know how to handle mind though, I've got carry insurance and lawyers on deck and I'm willing to take a ride. But once again being black, if I ever shoot my gun I have to first actually make it to police headquarters/precinct meaning hopefully they don't kill me first.

His family said he had mental issues. Regardless, he was actively shooting at the cops after shooting up people's houses, what exactly should they have done? This wasn’t some unarmed breh getting shot in the back, this was a active shooter putting people's lives in jeopardy. The cops waited for six hours trying to deescalate the situation, they showed plenty of restraint.
They've waited longer and taken suspects into custody that have fired at them. The goal regardless of the situation should be to apprehend the suspect and get his or her ass into the system. I'm not saying you specifically but a lot of people really would vote for a bill that gave police a license to kill and allow them to not even be brought into court. That's all fine and well until someone they know or care about gets smoked. It's kind of funny, every month there's a new video of a guy chasing a cop with a knife screaming "kill me, kill me!!!!" Or shooting at them or just brandishing, some times they kill him, some times they don't. But one can't kill themselves or have themselves euthanized. So some people who ordinarily wouldn't harm a fly has to resort to putting someone's life in danger just as a loophole to get killed, thus achieving what they wanted in the first place.

I understand what you're saying, but not every situation like this needs attention. This was a situation where dude was shooting into people's apartments, then shooting at the cops trying to evaluate the building. At that point the priority should be to eliminate the threat before someone gets hurt, the longer they wait, the higher the chance of that happening. If some mentally ill person was firing shots into your house and had you trapped because cops couldn't get to you for 6 hours, would you be OK taking that chance just so breh could be brought in alive? I know I wouldn't.

Would you be OK with a scenario where some innocent bystander was killed just so they could bring dude in alive? I wouldn't. Cops do fukked up shyt all the time, but this isn't one of those times.
