Does this not feel like a major waste of time to you? With the actual problems people are facing? His co-workers seem to view him as a valued member of his community, did he pose a threat to anyone?

Immigration issue aside, dude was reckless. He had a previous gun charge AND a deportation order for overstaying his 1999 student visa and was STILL arrogant enough to be walking around with a gun. He played himself by being arrogant and will probably be the last ever black superintendent for that school district. Dude was earring $270k and still couldn’t behave himself and lay low.
I honestly think he would’ve gotten a pass if it was a routine traffic stop and he didn’t have the gun or flee the scene. He does look dapper in his ICE photo though.
Edit- He got married 8 years ago. Either his wife is also undocumented, or again his arrogance of not feeling like he needed to get his documents in order.
