Usually money gets allocated how it gets allocated but generally speaking a lot of shyt falls under Defense. The GOP blank checks anything under Defense and so do the democrats. Cori Bush probalby remembers how they tried to keep Africans in while they let their own people out. And she also remembers how they were fast tracked for citzenship while Haitans were chased back to Mexico
But MTG was kicked out of the Freedom caucus for being too #bothsides. meaning she probably voted against Aid to Ukraine but she did vote for Kevin McCarthy who got the majority whip to bribe and threaten enough Reps to get the bill passed. So the GOP can claim to get against something they're actually for. Which is why they don't usually call out people for voting for stuff directly because they all get pressed out for voting for shyt that they claim to be against so essentially shyt is really #bothsides.

Do you not think more than 44000 black people will be helped by the repeal of affirmative action? It will help some,harm others,possibly help HBCUs,harm others.

So if democrats admittedly cant do shyt for black people specefically. Or stop us from being harmed even. You might as well not waste your time voting. I agree,it probably is the best black people will see until we fully assimilate over time. Democratic laws are pro assimilation,Republican laws are 50/50. You're not ever going to have it when EVERY SINGLE BLACK PERSON IN AMERICA is WINNING. Because black people are not a monolith. But whatever is going to help the greatest amount of black people I'm for. Remember, black people are a MINORTIY. We simply don't have the numbers to COMPETELY control the narrative in America. If we get a black candidate for President who's platform is Black American First, if EVERY BLACK PERSON in America voted for him, he still would not win unless some NON-BLACK PEOPLE voted for him as well. So yeah, if you want a to live a nation where everything is black controlled, you will have to leave America and go to an African or Carribian nation. You go ahead and do that. I was born and raised here in America, and I'm not about to be chased away.
I believe more black people will be harmed by banning affirmative action than helped by it's banning. Sure, some HBCUs will see increased enrollment. But we both know in the real world a degree from an HBCU does not hold the same weight as a degree from Harvard or Yale. Plus, why should black people be confined to going to HBCUs if they don't want to. Again, as you bothsiders like to say, we are not a monolith. And with these white Republicans putting it out there that they will be watching colleges closely, and if they get any kind of indication that race was considered in admission, they will sue. College presidents under pressure from alumni, Republican politicians and governors, they going to do what they can to keep their job.
People have the tendency to OVERCORRECT to make sure they are in compliance with the laws. Like in Florida, the "Don't Say Gay" bill was only supposed to apply to up to the 3rd grade, then middle school. Now the Department of Education says they are just going to apply it to all grades. Very logical that these colleges are going to follow the same format (especially in red states) and see college and see less blacks in college. But that is the end goal, less educated black people. That's the point of the whole "Critical Race Theory" ban; less knowledge about black history and black empowerment. Why you both siders are ok with that, I don't why.

i want people to pay attention to the bolded statement to see how problematic it is for us black people. First and foremost, you need to get yourself hip on words and word games. By calling black people a minority like certain other groups minorities as well. Youre basically prioritizing black people second as in second class citizenship. That allows you to be manipulated by not being prioritized. Notice the asians and latinos never call themselves minorities. They are strategic. Not only that youre also promoting a psychological warfare tactic when you are calling black people powerless. Understand they use the number game when they want to. Look at south africa. White people are the minorities out there but they hold the power over the majority. My point is a defeated mentality kills your movement before it starts. Cant think like a loser and expect to win.
