Q
i want people to pay attention to the bolded statement to see how problematic it is for us black people. First and foremost, you need to get yourself hip on words and word games. By calling black people a minority like certain other groups minorities as well. Youre basically prioritizing black people second as in second class citizenship. That allows you to be manipulated by not being prioritized. Notice the asians and latinos never call themselves minorities. They are strategic. Not only that youre also promoting a psychological warfare tactic when you are calling black people powerless. Understand they use the number game when they want to. Look at south africa. White people are the minorities out there but they hold the power over the majority. My point is a defeated mentality kills your movement before it starts. Cant think like a loser and expect to win.
And keep this in mind.. white people make up half of the hbcu population so yall acting like these schools are full of black people when theres people like shaun king going there.
You are looking way into deep into the wording. There is a majority, and there is a minority. I used the word minority in the sense of NUMBERS. Get out of here with all that psycholgical warfare tactic nonsense. A minority is smaller than a majority That's all that was meant by that phrase.
I looked at South Africa. Apartheid was there and white people were in power because they had technology and firepower on their side. Now whites there are complaining that they are being killed off by the black majority and having their land taken from them. But alas, we don't live in South Africa, we live in America. As I said to Still Benefited, you want a nation where blacks are in TOTAL CONTROL, you have to go to one where blacks have the numbers. Blacks in America can definitely wield significant power, but America is never going to be a BLACK CONTROLLED nation. Don't get your point about HBCUs. You suggesting since affirmative action is gone that whites be kicked out of HBCUs?
Let me ask you, what do you see as a utopia for black America? All races are sperate, like in the 1950s?
Waiting for the follow through before praising Dems has nothing to do with republicans…
