It's foul what happened to homie, BUT he was moving sloppy. He's from Philly (Germantown). He's been in street shyt. He's not a slouch, and knows better, than to be moving that wocky. He's in a chicken & waffle spot, in the middle of (the trenches of) Cali, wit 100K+ worth of jewelry on, a nice wheel, a female, no blicky, etc, etc. He was FRONTIN, but for who & what? Get your breakfast, and stay out the way. It just wasn't the time, nor the place, for that. Bad enough, a nkka with no jewels on, and not from around there, is lookin like a lick. What did he perceive himself, to be lookin like?

"But, but....nobody expects to be targeted....blah, blah...." :noah:

YES
we get it. BUT nggas are broke out here. We're in the midst of a (possible) recession, post-pandemic, post PPE, etc. Folks called this from a mile away. Folks gonna be thirsty, once that PPE well, runs dry. Mind you, this type shyt, BEEN goin on.

You will become an opportunity, if you're not moving responsibly (post pandemic). I'm not gonna take the path, of sayin, "His lady "lined him up", til the facts come out (nor do I believe she did), but at the LEAST, she was another liability. You cannot rely on a bytch to watch your back, nor have it, if shyt goes left. It's possible, but NOT LIKELY. She's not U, NOR YOUR MANS.

How many times, does it need to be reiterated? If you're moving in sus areas, you need to move vigilantly, and militantly. Ultimately, not even be there. But DEFINITELY don't move irresponsibly. PnB (and Pop Smoke for that matter), were sharper than that, to be gettin laid down in LA, like that. That's the really sad part.

"The culture" creates self-hating black klansmen.

I hate everything about "the culture".

I cringe when people say it because I know it does nothing good for us as a collective.

It's literal mental and spiritual poison.

While we think "the culture" is cool and hip, the rest of the world laughs at it and is glad it's not there's and would never allow it to be.

I went to school in Philly and I had an iPod in 2005 when them shyts first hit

I knew exactly where I could rock that shyt when I lived there because I grew up in BK and knew damn well better than to advertise that I was a lick

We can talk all day but the ones having the discussions aren’t the nikkas dying. They want this lifestyle, the females they make babies with want this lifestyle. You can’t save the world, just live in it. How is it more nikkas dying today that in the Death Row era and them nikkas was looking to kill and be killed?

The culture needs to advocate for the end poverty for black people. So all crime can be lowered in those neighborhoods.

Why is LA still LA in 2022?

Just ANOTHER generation of brothers with flags on they head?

This what we need to talk about.

PNB stayed in some beef and I remember him and his boys jumped Lil B. I hate to say it, but nikkas like PNB are not good for our community and he would spit in any of you nikkas faces if you got to close. Spare me the fake sympathy for this nikka.

Its not economics, black men are killing other black men for clout, attention, and due to their own self hatred. Until black men as a collective acknowledge this nothing will ever change.

He’s right. Every time a rappers dies we have all this dialogue and finger pointing. But what about the countless number of black men that die to violence every year? I know the coli loves to scapegoat the music since that’s a easy way out. But it’s much deeper than that
Somebody posted a video of Kodak Black walking through New York after being told he was banned. It seems like people moved on already. This stuff is rinse and repeat and something has to change.
