I watched his videos. Saw one where he was throwing up gang signs.

He portrayed himself as a gang member.

He talked about how hard it would be to touch him

He went to dine in an area heavily patrolled by gangs

He was killed by a gang member

Maybe the conversation should be about switching to conscious rap

If PNB was in Medellin by himself with those jewels on, would he still be alive?

If he was strollin through Mexico City at night by himself with that shyt on his wrist, would he have gotten got?

What are you talking about? This is the US, supposedly a rich and powerful nation that spends a ton on police and national defense. PNB Rock was killed in what? Within an hour of arriving to a restaurant in the middle of the day?

We pay all those taxes for what then? Myself for example i am overseas and I'm not saying shyt on social media because you never know who knows who or whose watching. It is sad the US is in that state of insecurity.

We need to split the culture into two.
White people got away with creating a "white trash" underclass that looks up to the rest of the whites and sees themselves as being temporary displaced from that position
Maybe if we isolate the dregs of the black community into it's own group we can better ostracize their behavior without people feeling the need to cape for them just because they are black.
Not on some "new black" shyt cause racism is still real and the cause of most of these problems, but the majority of blacks should be able to openly articulate that we not with this fukk shyt, don't identify with these losers committing all these crimes, and want them out of our communities

Or the conditions that bred young men to kill in middle of the day without a care in the world.

I agree the music is part of it and the glorification of gang life

I think I was very clear:

1. He was rocking expensive items on his person

2. He was wearing these things in an impoverished section of that city

3. He was robbed and killed.

Number 3 would have happened almost anywhere in the world except maybe China, South Korea, and Japan and even those places you probably still shouldn't do it

You paying taxes, all that other stuff? Irrelevent :yeshrug:

Every answer that happens to make Black Americans take accountability you get called a c00n.

There's is no fixing this community. Worry about your own family. Join a successful group of like minded people and keep it moving.

I think it’s deeper than that. Tbh a lot of black people don’t like whose looking back at them in the mirror
If it was Justin beiber in a new Benz and 200k in jewelry in south central with no security... and he resisted giving up the goods during the robbery... the outcome would have been exactly the same

This is a socioeconomic issue, not a black self hatred issue.

While we talk about conditions gang members are patrolling the city. That's not an issue talking will fix. Protect yourself and your family with basic common sense.

Don't try to get your adventure badge in neighborhoods where you might get shot is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Don't throw up gang signs.

Maybe switch your format if the art you make turns you into a target for the underworld.

And if you have no other avenue to be successful as an artist. It must be time to get some IT certifications.

I’m really tired of this. First off it’s deeper than rap if we want to go down this route. Secondly, this PNB nikka stay talking spicy on the internet. No telling who got down on him. Same with Dolph who was beefing with half of Memphis. Why don’t people ever mention these things when this shyt happens?
