I know everyone rightfully giving Ant a hard time but OKC top 3 of SGA/JDub/Chet have severely outplayed Ant/Randle/Rudy. I still think Ant played fine and im not blaming him. In a playoff game against the best team in the league you can't have 20+ turnovers and give up 20+ offensive rebounds. Good teams are going to take advantage of those extra opportunities and good teams are going to limit those for the opponent. OKC just elite at taking advantage. Wolves were withing 5-9 points basically all night because any little push the wolves would make OKc would answer with offense or defense. This feels like a game the Wolves should have won but they didn't value possessions enough :hubie:

It's still nuts that with all the talent they've had over the last 15 years this could only be the second time the Thunder would have made the finals
Goes to show how difficult it is to make it to the finals. Fans act like that shyt just a drop in the buckets cause you have names, talent, etc. You literally need to have everything line up.

Nah this team would beat that heat team they was thinking bench wise they'd lose. They didn't even have a starting center.
If Wade is getting the same whistle SGA does in that series, dude would've had 25 a night...not to mention the absolute peak of LeBron's career. Dort is too short and Cason is too light.

Bosh against Holmgren would've been interesting though. The spacing advantage Bosh had back then doesn't really exist nowadays

That’s y you can’t put stock into playoff blowouts, each game is its own thing
nikkas was on here talking about how do you lose a game by 40 in the western conference finals? And seriously asking that dumbass question as if we don’t live in the 3pt era :dead: :mjlol:

That shyt meant nothing, OKC was always the better team. It’s just nikkas have biases based on who they like and don’t like.

He's "just 23"

Both Kobe and Bron were already ahead of him if we talking basketball IQ so idk why you even brought their names up, he's not in their league, we just let social media propel him there because none of the other stars say or do anything entertaining

If he's "just 23" then all of the face of the league narratives need to stop until he actually achieves something beyond selling wolf tickets on the Internet

Ant is 23 right? SGA is three years older than him. What was SGA doing in the playoffs three years ago in 2022 because I don’t remember that nikka doing shyt.

Last year Ant was 22 and put out Jokic. What was SGA doing in 2021 that matches that?

That’s why I think Ant has a higher upside.

Fouling up 3 is lame as hell. Makes these games so anti climactic. Woat era.
Yeah taking fouls on purpose just kills the momentum, flow and vibes of games. They didn’t want the wolves to get open looks and have the opportunity to tie the game. In general, I understand why teams do it, they want to slow down the game, protect a lead late in the game, and prevent the opposing team from getting on a huge scoring run but it’s such an annoying tactic.
