The whole Ant is only 23 and SGA is 26, is cute… but SGA was this good at 24.

As far as unfair criticisms go, Shaq was 23 when grown ass Hakeem “whooped” his ass in 1995.

Tatum was 23 when Curry 10-years his senior schooled him in 2022 and Wiggins had him in hell. No one cared about age gaps or context.

Maybe Ant ends up the golden child ppl want him to be and that’s fine, but in the meantime he gon have to hold that L like everyone else who came before him.
Sh*t corny as hell. He's got a ton of playoff experience and he's considered one of the best players in the league. Its not like he has to grow into his frame. There are levels and this is what he and everyone is witnessing.

I HATE SGA
He's the worst thing to happen to NBA basketball in decades.

The foul baiting, the flailing, the flopping AND having success with it is a stain on our game.
Leading scorer because defenders back off knowing he gets all the calls. Great mid-range shooter, so it's easy work to get 30.

That said: he is playing very well today.

Too unlikable and simply not skilled enough (nearly no highlight moments) to be the face of anything but flopping, but he can play.

Harden was doing the same exact thing. :manny:

Also, he's pretty skilled. He has good handles, can drive, and has a very good mid range shot. He also finishes at the rim, plus knows how to drive and kick to the open man. He's just not an 'above-the-rim' type of player hence his lack of "highlights".

OKC had to sit SGA down to ensure the tanking. Though he did battle some injuries.
Yup, even tho 24 was when he ascended, to your point he was pretty damn good and comparable to current Ant at 23 but not on a veteran team.

The double edged sword of Ant’s situation (being on a veteran team with KAT, Rudy, Conley) is altho you get more early team success and spoils, you can get hamstrung with an aging/incompatible roster

He's a free agent & their in a money crunch there so they might lose him
Damn, you just made me think of something. I don't know Ty Jerome's contract situation, but I don't think that would be a terrible pickup for Minnesota if they lose NAW.

He was up and down for the Cavs these playoffs.

Harden was infinitely WORSE, sorry @Primetime

I don't know how dudes can watch basketball and compare those two in the slightest when it comes to the foul baiting shyt

They have to figure out what to do with Randle & pay Naz Reid so I'm not sure what their going to be able to do unless they manage to get creative with trades
