Box score warching per usual ... Getting those types of fouls is demoralizing to a team. You call the game evenly, the game changes beyond fixed numbers on the fkin box score.... Dudes get more trust in their defensive abilities if you actually let them play defense.

He’s capable, but even if he doesn’t ever become a facilitator at the level of Luka, LeBron, or Jokic, he’s similar to Steph where neither may ever have consistent big assist nights but they can slither/maneuver to the paint with the PnR and finish at the rim + make a good enough pass that defenses have to respect it.
Comparatively, it’s really the only weakness someone like Kawhi ever had. Elite 1v1 talent but poor at slithering through traffic and not really gonna beat you with the pass. It’ll be more of a bailout pass once he’s surrounded. Same with KD.
Ant has more raw athleticism than SGA and can slither through defenses but he doesn’t have a kill shot there, and either checks out mentally (drifts or settles for long 3s) or lacks the motor to constantly probe and make plays in the paint (that’s not a poster attempt).

I can’t believe he fumbled that team. They could’ve easily gone back to the Finals and would’ve been favorites against Knicks or Pacers.
