I’ll be surprised if the Wolves don’t get swept.
They don’t even look like they belong in the WCF.
Unlike last postseason, the Wolves overachieved this time around. They got lucky playing against an LA team that had no depth and interior size and then caught a break going up against a Warriors team that lost Steph; before he got injured, Golden State looked primed to beat them.
Also, guys like Randle, McDaniels, Alexander-Walker, and even Gobert were offensively overachieving throughout those first two rounds, but now they're coming back down to earth.
I mentioned last series that although Ant has had a good postseason, in terms of stats, he seems a bit muted this year compared to last year's run. If anything, you could make the argument that Randle and the other guys have been more impactful for Minnesota this postseason than he has and are the reason why they've made it this far.
