Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
The Cavs should have traded down if they wanted him. He never should have been drafted as high as he was but I still think he could be decent. The expectations of being the #1 overall pick probably didn't help his development.

They tried to trade down. Multiple times. No one wanted the pick.

I really don't get the school vs NBA argument. How does staying somewhere playing against weak and inferior competition make you more prepared for the NBA than actually being in the NBA with world class trainers, coaches, and personnel at your disposal?
it doesn't,just something the NBA/NCAA manufactured to help the college sides bottom line

Getting reps, getting in-game experience and facing on-court adversity goes a long way.

Hell Bennett was getting himself together physically a year ago. What did it get him?

I agree

Fact is everybody aint going to make it. :yeshrug: I think what matters the most, if they luck up in the right system with right coach/team. This is moreso the case in football but, it still holds some truth in basketball. But, again everybody not built to last in the league.

Signing with Toronto was a bad move. It was a cute storyline because he's from here but Casey was never going to let him learn and figure things out on the job

He should have gone to Portland where hed have Triano or signed with Philly for the chance to get some PT.

Raptors should send him to the dleague so he can atleast play.

Agreed, he needs to play somewhere. He looked really good during the Pan-Ams and FIBA, but I don't know if that's because if he got a chance to play through his mistakes or because he was able to out-muscle most international guys.

Putting him in the D-League would make sense, he just needs to play somewhere. The Raps' D-League coach seems to encourage bad habits though. Bruno is a very good defender now but he's turning into a chucker down there.

You are both stupid. There was specifically a post complaining about Lebron trading Bennett (and Waiters I think). I did not mention Wiggins because that trade occurred BEFORE the season began.
Find the post or you're full of shyt.

To be fair that whole draft is :flabbynsick: people will bring up Noel but he's not top pick material either

That was a bum draft

That draft sucked, but dude just didn't even look like a NBA player. He looked more like a out of shape defense end. He never seemed fluid on the court either. Easily the worst #1 of all time IMO

Facts....

'13 draft is just :scusthov: status.

Besides Noel, Giannis, and Gobert...

BUT hindsight is 20-20... :manny:
